A power source concept developed for the fulfilment of the most diverse tasks in welding technology. The modular concept allows for an exact alignment to the respective application and creates flexibility for future adjustments.

With our modular devices different welding processes can be realized:

  • Plasma or TIG welding, with or without filler metal.
  • Plasma powder welding (PTA)
    DED processes for additive manufacturing (3D printing), such as: WAAM or PAAM
  • Special programs are available for all applications.


Each modular component has an automatic detection system, the welding system virtually configures itself during assembly.

The power source can be operated via the optional, removable Human Machine Interface or as a pure remote system via a wide variety of bus systems. Different touch panels with intuitive operation are available.

Our metal 3D printer uses a DED process based on proven plasma technology with wire or powder filler materials.

The system is built on our proven modular welding power sources and is therefore scalable depending on the application.

This enables a cost-effective entry into the world of metallic 3D printing for various customer segments, such as:

  • General engineering
  • Aerospace industry
  • Universities
  • R&D departments
  • Toolmaking
  • etc.


Possible application areas are industrial 3D printing, material development and multi-wire or powder applications.

Industry 4.0

New development of all power source components to the latest state of the art. Great emphasis was placed on seamless communication via real-time bus systems between sensors and the Internet in order to create the prerequisites for Industry 4.0. An option for cloud connection and data exchange via OPC UA were also implemented.

Remote maintenance

A remote maintenance access capability via Ethernet, Wi-Fi and GSM interfaces allows remote maintenance at the power source for service, diagnostics, software updates and also serves as a data interface for welding data logging.

Future-proof features

  • Continuous data recording in the background for documentation and analysis purposes.
    Integrated innovations for energy saving.
  • Access control via integrated RFID card reader, user management directly at the power source.
  • USB interface for simple data exchange e.g.: jobs, welding parameters, welding data, log files, software updates, etc.
  • Easy maintenance of the unit components, as the modularity allows easy accessibility.
  • Synergic adjustment possibilities for plasma gas and wire feed speed or powder feed rate to the welding current.
